OUR STORY · SINCE 1988
Rooted in gardening.
Growing joy.
From a backyard garden to homes across Malaysia, Serbajadi began with a simple belief: the right start makes growing more rewarding.
A MATTER OF PRIDE AND JOY
A garden is more than
the plants you grow.
It is the first new leaf, the flower you have been waiting for, the small corner of green that makes a home feel like yours. We make gardening products to help you care for those moments—and enjoy the growing along the way.
A SHARED PASSION.
WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
A gardener’s idea.
A family’s beginning.
Edwin Woo was an avid home gardener who wanted a greener backyard. He began mixing his own soil, and other gardening enthusiasts soon took an interest.
In 1988, he and his wife founded Perniagaan Serbajadi. Two years later, the business became YMWOO Corporation Sdn Bhd, opening the way to a wider range of products for fellow home gardeners.
As the business grew, a factory followed, allowing Serbajadi to reach gardeners through hypermarkets, supermarkets and other retailers. The starting point stayed the same: understanding what gardeners need.
