Plant Care:
- Temperature: Warm
- Light: Full sun
- Water: Water liberally. Allow planting medium to dry out slughtly between waterings
- Soil: For rapid and vigorous growth and larger flowerhead use either Serbajadi Organic Peat Moss or Serbajadi Multi-Purpose Compost
- Fertiliser: Serbajadi Plant Food Organic Plus 41 Flowering Fertilisers (750gm)
Plant issues:
- Young plant drooping: Transplant shock, possibly roots was being affected
- Mature plant drooping: Not enough watering
Pests:
- Snails and slugs can attack young plants
- Sunflower Beetles: Leaf foliage being eaten, can severely damaged younger plants
- Cutworms: Leaves damage (notches or holes) mainly on younger plants. Can cause leave to wilt.
- Sunflower Borers: Attacks stem, can kill the plant.
- Sunflower Moths: Destroys the plant if eggs are laid and hatched with the flower
